Location and travel

Travel to Shetland has never been easier with links by sea and air. NorthLink Ferries provides daily sailings to Aberdeen and there are numerous flights to and from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness all with connections to other national and international airports. In the summer there is an air service to Bergen in Norway. The ferry calls in at Kirkwall in Orkney throughout the year and there are regular flights between the two island groups allowing you to have a multi island holiday.

Lerwick is 25 miles from the islands airport at Sumburgh. Regular buses run to the airport and taxis are plentiful. The NorthLink ferry connection to Aberdeen and Kirkwall docks in Lerwick.

The studio is approximately 1.5 miles or a 25 minutes walk or 5 minute drive from Lerwick town centre with the main town service bus stop available 2 minutes away. Lerwick has two supermarkets within a short distance. There is a nearby service station with grocery store.
